The Boss Is Back! -- Again!!!

Foxy Tann Returns to Head-Up the Mic for VTBF2027

For the past two years at the historic Barre Opera House, as the house lights dimmed and the stage came alive, a familiar question echoed from the seats:

"Is Foxy gonna be here?!"

Well, Vermont… you asked, and we delivered.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that burlesque royalty, beloved festival alum, and the undisputed Boss of Burlesque herself, Foxy Tann, is returning to the Green Mountain State as our Headlining Emcee for VTBF2027!

A Decade of Vermont Love 🍁

Foxy is far from a stranger to the Vermont Burlesque Festival family. She first set foot on our stage over a decade ago at VTBF2015, instantly capturing the hearts of Vermont audiences with her razor-sharp wit, brassy charm, and electric command of the room. After three iconic turns on the VTBF mic, VTBF2027 marks her fourth historic appearance in Vermont—and if past shows have taught us anything, it’s going to be one for the record books.

Who Is The Boss of Burlesque? 👑

Hailing from the "Twin Titties" (Minneapolis–St. Paul), Foxy Tann isn't just an emcee; she’s an institution:

• Neo-Burlesque Pioneer: Hailed by the Minneapolis Star Tribune as a pioneer of modern neo-burlesque and dubbed one of The Huffington Post’s “Top 10 Burlesque Performers to Watch.”

• Burlesque Hall of Fame Veteran: Winner of “Best Group” and “Most Vegas” at the Burlesque Hall of Fame with The Wham Bam Thank You Maams, a 2019 Miss Exotic World contender, and a frequent main-stage host at BHoF Weekender.

• Stage & Community Leader: With over 25 years spanning circus, drag, theatre, and striptease, Foxy travels the globe performing, educating, and making stage magic—all while co-running HardCore Pasties and championing emerging performers.

Whether she’s commanding an audience in Copenhagen, a dive bar in the Midwest, or an opera house packed to the rafters in Barre, Foxy brings a rare brand of magnetic warmth, side-splitting humor, and unapologetic realness that bridges the gap between performer and fan like nobody else in the business.

Don't Miss Her Return!

When Foxy Tann has the microphone, no two shows are ever the same. Expect lightning-fast improv, riotous crowd banter, and an evening packed with laughter, empowerment, and world-class burlesque emceeing glamour.

Grab your flannel, season it with a little fire and ice, dress to impress, and prepare to welcome Foxy back home to Vermont!
