All classes will take place at the VTBF Host Hotel (TBA)
You must have your Rendezvous Pass with you to attend classes. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Water is provided in all classes. You are welcomed & encouraged to bring a snack. There are short breaks between classes. Some classes may require special equipment, active wear, props, and/or require you to sign a liability waiver before participating. Please read all descriptions fully to be prepared.

The Getdown
Lou Lou la Duchesse de Riére
Learn the art of the get down with Lou Lou la Duchesse de Rière in her floorwork master class. Perfect your dips, dives, and shoulder rolls while learning fun, safe ways to get on the floor, work your moves and strengthen your choreography.
Bring knees pads if needed, they are not required.

On Beat: Musicality 101

Unlock your inner musical performer to step your burlesque game up this year.
Hone your skills in transitions, movement and connection; and acquire the tools necessary to bring out the WOW factor in your next act and take your choreography from step-driven and technical to organic and awe inspiring.
Learn the importance of active listening, song selection and mapping, alongside tips to working with live bands. Lou Lou will teach you how to strengthen your use of rhythm, tempo, phrasing, and mood so that you will be set up for success next time you hit the stage

The Basics of Burlesque

Curious about burlesque? ...or maybe you'd like to just brush up on your basic movements?
This beginner-friendly class introduces the fundamentals of the art form in a fun, supportive, and judgment-free environment.
Learn classic movements like the shimmy, bump-and-grind, graceful bends, struts, and the art of the tease while building confidence, stage presence, and body awareness.
No dance experience is required—just bring comfortable clothes, a willingness to have fun, and an open mind.

Attendees are encouraged to listen, ask questions, and contribute to a thoughtful discussion about the next chapter of burlesque.
