But since Covid only pop out for special occasions. The 2024 Vermont Burlesque Festival is such an occasion! They are passionate story-tellers who are thrilled to be part of this line-up and hope you enjoy their "stories".

Astoria, New York Daisy Delicacy made her burlesque debut through the New York School of Burlesque's Student Showcase in 2020. She has performed in the NYC Talent Show at The Slipper Room and gogo danced and stage kittened at the 2023 New York Burlesque Festival. This marks her second year at the Vermont Burlesque Festival. Daisy's goal is to bring her love of all things theatrical to each one of her performances.

Ottawa, Ontario Ruby Mirage has always been a dancer. As a teen her baton twirling talents led her to be a cheerleader with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Ruby, also a classically trained ballerina, has taught dance most of her life. Continuing her love of dance, Ruby now performs with Ottawa’s Rouge Studio of Dance troupe, The Divine Darlings and continues to dazzle audiences internationally with her solo acts.

Burlington, Vermont Doctor Vu is a Sugar Shaker and producer with Green Mountain Cabaret, Vermont's premier burlesque troupe and production company. She's served as Vermont's foremost burlesque educator for 6+ years, offering classes that let students explore their authentic selves in this amazing art form. Doctor Vu performs regionally and at festivals including the RVA Burlesque Fest and NOLA Nerdlesque Fest.

Fort Collins, Colorado Meeshka is from Ft. Collins, CO. She's performed since 2019 and debuted at the tender age of 50 yrs. old. Meeshka is a Desert Storm Veteran and served as an airborne paratrooper. A Disabilibabe who often performs with mobility aids, she advocates accessibility for all and encourages inclusion, diversity and support for all performers but especially those disadvantaged.

Montreal, Quebec, Canada Emerging from a background of ballet jazz and contemporary dance, Freya Moon discovered the magical world of burlesque during the summer of 2020. After her first solo performance in March 2022, she felt like she had finally found her home in the Montreal burlesque community. Since then, she hasn’t been able to stop thinking about this art form and is constantly creating for her new passion.
