Returning emcee Franki Markstone!
A full-length showcase featuring burlesque headliners and guest stars drawn from across the country (and beyond).
Live music and comedy to keep the energy high between performances.
Specialty adult-beverage tastings for those 21+ (sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin) — a classy sip-and-see situation.
A flannel theme! Yes, you read that right. Barre is a flannel kinda town, and this year, once again the festival is leaning into it — show off your best flannel scarf, skirt, jacket or bow-tie for a chance at prizes and a red-(flannel)-carpet photo op.
Behind it all: support for local charities and the arts. The festival raises awareness and funds for bodies like breast-cancer research and the Pride Center of Vermont.
🎟️ Why You Should Grab Your Ticket NOW
As of now this is the ONLY showcase of VTBF2026— seats will fill fast.
It’s in Barre at the historic Opera House — intimate enough to see the performers up close, big enough to feel like an event.
Whether you’re a burlesque-veteran or new to the scene, this is a spectacular “first-time” or “must comeback” kind of show.
The theme is fun. Flannel? Why not. Upping the community-vibe, the surprise factor, the immersive nature.
It’s adult-oriented, art-oriented, body-positive, and inclusive. The VTBF emphasizes celebrating the art of burlesque — not simply as striptease—but as performance, empowerment, and community.
A Few Things to Know Before You Buy
This showcase is for mature audiences — expect adult themes, language, costumes, and theatricality.
Booths and bar: There will be a designated cash bar and beverage tastings (21+). Bring ID.
Attire: Flannel encouraged (but not required) for the theme. Dress up, lean into the fun.
Photography & re-entry: In past years, no re-entry once you leave the venue. Also, standard rules for photography — check with event staff on allowed times.
By attending, you consent to being photographed/recorded for promotional use by VTBF.
