The performances presented at Vermont Burlesque Festival are works of art, and we take their stewardship seriously.

Performer Media Access & Use Policy

All photos and videos captured during VTBF events are owned by VTBF, in accordance with the signed performer media release. This ownership ensures the integrity of the festival’s creative work while empowering performers to use their media professionally and proudly. This structure also allows us to protect the integrity of the work on our stages while supporting our artists in sharing and promoting their brilliance beyond the festival.

As part of our commitment to supporting our artists, VTBF grants each performer a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use their provided images and videos for personal, promotional, and professional purposes.

What You May Do With Your Media

Performers may:

Post and share photos and videos publicly
Use media for marketing, booking, press, websites, reels, and social platforms
Edit, crop, or excerpt clips for promotional use
Submit performance videos to other festivals, producers, booking agents, or venues
Authorize producers or venues to use the media to promote your participation in their events

VTBF supports artists using their performance media to advance their careers.

What Is Not Permitted

Media may not be:

Resold
Commercially licensed for unrelated third-party use
Submitted to stock media platforms
Used in paid advertising for unrelated brands or commercial products

...Without prior written permission from VTBF.

Attribution Requirement

When VTBF performance media is published publicly — including social media, websites, festival submissions, booking materials, or promotional content — Vermont Burlesque Festival must be credited in a reasonable and visible manner.

Acceptable attribution includes:

Tagging Vermont Burlesque Festival
Using the hashtag #VTBF + the year (example: #VTBF2026)
Including “Vermont Burlesque Festival” in captions or descriptions
Retaining VTBF watermarking, if present

If watermarking is removed during editing, performers agree to include a clear written credit to Vermont Burlesque Festival in the accompanying caption or description.

The VTBF Promise

Out of respect for our performers:

VTBF will not intentionally publish a performer’s full act publicly in its entirety without additional direct consent.
VTBF will not intentionally publish images publicly that show pasties or exposed nipples without additional direct written consent.

VTBF works with staff, contractors, and volunteers. While we strive for careful oversight, inadvertent postings may occasionally occur.

If you believe content has been shared in a way that does not align with this policy, please notify us promptly. VTBF will review the matter and make reasonable efforts to remove or modify the content in a timely manner.

The dropbox link is only as safe as you help us keep it. We're working on the honor system here and we've got a few rules we need to live by…

INSTRUCTIONS

(you do not need to join dropbox - don't let it fool you)

1. (Once done reading these instructions) Click the link at the bottom of this page - just below the password.

2. Enter the password. A DropBox folder will pop up.

For VTBF2025 and prior - folders for each performance night/show. Navigate to the show you performed in to find your performance images.

For VTBF2026 only one folder exists with all images from the festival.

Note: On computers: If a list with small thumbnails loads, and you aren't able to see the images, click on the square made up of 4 small lines on the right side of the page (next to and on the same line as the title "VTBF2025 Performance Photos"). Then select "grid" or "large grid" - This will allow you to see files with a larger image. (Continue to Step 3)

Note: On mobile devices: Click on the first image to enlarge it. Swipe until you find your image(s). To Download your image, click on the three dots (top right corner of the screen) to open a menu. Click "save image." (Know where you're downloading the file - cause we don't - each device has its own download settings based on how you've set up your device).

3. Hover your mouse over your file and a download prompt will appear. (if you click on the file, a new window opens, look for the download symbol in the top right of the screen next to the "share" icon).

4. Once you click download a window pops up (you do not need to log in or sign up), click on the link at the bottom of the window "or continue with download only"

5. Follow the download instructions. (Know where you're downloading the file - cause we don't - each device has its own download settings based on how you've set up your device).

6. Repeat the process for each of your files.

7. That's it! You've got your file(s). Have fun! Promote Yourself! Get Seen!
