THE MIXER

This FREE EVENT is designed for mingling and making new friends.  Deli/126 & Hendrick's Gin host this early evening event with special cocktails, festival previews, tarot card readings, and music.

OPENING NIGHT SNEAK PEAKS & NEW ENGLAND BURLESQUE COMPETITION

Be transported into history as you walk through the doors of the Flynn space. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge with a cocktail while enjoying classic live jazz from one of the festival’s featured bands. Next, a ceremonial toast followed by the Vermont Burlesque Festival’s New England Themed Competition; a burlesque competition where a selected group of performers have taken on the challenge of creating an act that involves some sort of New England history, pop culture, folklore, political statement, stereotype, trend, or characteristic. You, the audience, will decide on the winner, whom will walk away with an honorary title and show off the winning act during the festival’s main event on Jan 19th.

The newest addition to the Vermont Burlesque Festival's Showcase Line-up -- "The Trackside Teaser" is perfect for a little food, a little cocktail, and a little tease before the Granite City Showcase.

Gusto's Bar offers a full dinner menu and full bar with specialty festival cocktails made with Hendrick's Gin.

​

Bar and food are not part of the ticket price.

This event is restricted to 21+ because of Vermont Liquor Laws.

GRANITE CITY SHOWCASE

Brace yourself Central Vermont, this is the most attended showcase of the festival.  From doors to curtain call this 3 hour event and features, live music, comedy and burlesque headliners you won't want to miss.

​

Theme for the evening is flannel.  Prizes awarded to the Best dressed flannel attendees who step on the flannel carpets and have their photos taken.

A CLASSIC NIGHT at the SPEAKEASY

​

Set in what we believe to be Burlington's most luxurious speak easy, this early evening showcase is a wonderful entertainment appetizer before the festival's main event.

​

This showcase features a mix of classic and neo-burlesque acts.  Attendees can typically expect to see long gowns and feather fans, live cabaret style singing and tap dancing, modern music and big band sounds.

THE NERDY SHOW

​

Vermont's favorite genre of neo-burlesque - "nerdlesque."  The nerdiest show of the year, filled with comic book characters, pop culture and muppets. A nerdtastic show to grab a cocktail, have a laugh and get warmed up for the Main Event. 

​

Bunny Wonderland emcees this showcase.  Play along by dressing the part.  Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite nerdy attire.

Très Grand Spectacle

(The Main Event)

Just over three hours long with more than 65 performers, musicians, variety acts and comedians, Le Trés Grand Spectacle is "The Main Event" of the Vermont Burlesque Festival.  It is the longest, biggest, most spectacular showcase the Vermont Burlesque Festival will produce for the entire year.

​

Attendees can expect beverage tastings, vending, live music, comedy, variety acts, charitable causes, and of course a collection of the best burlesque performers Vermont will witness all year long.  More than 3 hours of liver performance art guaranteed to flirt with every human emotion Mother Nature blessed you with.

​

Dress to impress! The theme for this event is "grand", black tie, elegant & decorated. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed.

Partial proceeds to benefit breast cancer research in the state of Vermont.

THE AFTER PARTY

Come bump elbows and dance the night away with the performers and staff of the Vermont Burlesque Festival at Club Metronome in downtown Burlington.

Its not uncommon to find your favorite performers on the dance floor and closing down the city just before it's time to go back to everyone's perspective corners of the globe.

Basic Weekend Pass includes: Entry to all 6 showcases, economy seating at Flynn Space, Barre Opera House, & Flynn Theater.

Premium Weekend Pass includes: entry to all 6 Showcases, premium seating at Flynn Space, Barre Opera House, & Flynn Theater.

Golden Glitter VIP Pass includes entry to All 6 Showcases, best reserved seats in the house, photo opportunity with some of the festival headliners, “behind the curtain” tours, official festival gift bag with goodies, and FREE Entry into after parties.  (VIP ticket holders can pick up their gift bags at the VTBF2020 vending booth located at Flynn Theatre, Barre Opera House or Flynn Space)
